THE ABYSSINIAN:

One of the oldest breeds, the stunning Abyssinian have big almond-shaped eyes, long pointed ears and wears a silky, textured coat, rich in an orange brown colouring acccented by ‘ticking'.

The energetic Aby is lean and muscular, and closely resembles the felines in paintings and sculptures of ancient Egypt’s cats, associated with the early resemblance of cat goddess Sekhmet’s earthly appearance- goddess or war & protection.

I wanted to create a dress that could compliment more women's body shapes. So I created this dress with its high-collar and brass ring closure, open chest, open lace up back and high waist leg splits where the fabric can flow over your hips to the floor. This dress can be worn with a statement pair of underwear, or with a pair of shorts or leggings. Depending on the colour you choose, this dress emodies ancient warrioress to vampiric goth.
